Another Evil Thought
If you happened to get hold of some pictures of your mate, taken when he/she was young (especially the ones taken once upon a time, when he/she was doing something really embarrassing or stupid that your mate cannot even recall... that will be the best!), what you want to do is to keep the pictures safe and well hidden. It will come into great use in future! Make sure that there's no way for him/her to find and destroy them!
Next.......
Wait for the best time to take it out. (I say IT.. not THEM, because you don't want to show them all together. You reveal them one by one and intensify the degree of traumatic level that will cause each time.) So, you'll be keeping the worst and looking towards his/her 40, 50 year old birthday with the kids, big family and buddies around. Do not post it all up in one shot during his/her wedding...
Heheeehhh.... now you have got something in hand to threaten your poor mate...
Well taught by or Dr A. J (Left) - the source of today's deviltries
Hhahahahhahahaha...
-----------------------------------------
Talking about Orthodontists....
Dr A. J classifies people with malocclusion. Especially if the person has got a massive overjet or severe Class II or Class III skeletal pattern. He'll sure notice and remember their face. So, if he doesn't recognizes you, blame your gene!
He was just telling us how to find the person in the Architecture department who can help us to print our presentation cases nicely. All the description that he gave of the man was:" Ha has got a massive Class III mandible(lower jaw) that sticks miles out and you cannot miss it!"
All Orthodontists are evil...
Why?
Because they don't like 'dirty jobs'.
They are the mastermind behind the horror scene.
So what do they do?
They make treatment plannings and instruct their fellow GDP (General Dental Practitioner) and Oral Surgeon colleagues do the bloody jobs- drilling, chiseling, slaughtering...
This is how they keep their hands clean.
We did have a taste of their work, messing about with the brackets, fiddling with the elastics and kinking the wires in place.
It is not as easy as it looks... But it is very clean indeed!

Our Mr Santa must have posted it through the mail window although Christmas has been a month ago.
Thank you so much Paran, for being so thoughtful.
Maybe he is just wanting to give them away asap as these hurts his 'manliness'.
Well, it doesn't matter. At least he did thought of us.
I'm honestly touched! ^^

Iron Deficiency
Never been in this tired since a long long time.
Today is an exception, for an unknown reason.
Was at the verge of fainting this morning, gasping for air -- more of oxygen.
It was just a 3 hour of Orthodontic seminar but nothing goes into my mind. I was just sitting there, trying hard to keep my mind clear and stay concentrated. It failed. I learnt nothing! basically NOTHING!
A night of 8 hours sleep yesterday seems useless. This is strange..
A big lunch does not make me feel any better.. hm...
Maybe the whole weekend of power cut left us un- rested?
Maybe it's the flu?
Maybe i am still in denial?
Maybe....
Came home in the afternoon as i don't think i can manage to stay any longer in uni or else i'll just explode or be very miserable.
Took another long nap (i never really need a nap!) which does not help much.
Instantly, Anaemia just rang a bell! Had loads of meat n soup for dinner and it works a little.
So.. this is how it feels to be in iron deficient!
Tonight will be an early night again.

Recharging
It's Friday Night!
a night to turn the music up, hold a mini concert in my room, shout my lungs out even though my throat is already hurting.
It's Friday Night!!
a night to throw all stresses out of the window, forget everything about patients and dentistry, resolve all disappointments of the week, and to stop criticizing myself for procrastinating.
It's Friday Night!!!
a night to enjoy the comfort of home, to catch up with sleep, and to recollect my shattered bones.
~~ Will be back in whole tomorrow ~~

SNOW WAR BEGIN!!
Welcome 2010 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yooooohooooooooo!!!!
Here's a song to kick start of the year- By Stefanie Sun
It is snowing in Manchester!!!! -- the heaviest snow that i've seen after 5 years living in this country.
Snow started falling yesterday evening. 7 inches of snow has accumulated this morning! It has never been snowing this much since 1981 as reported. Many cars were stuck at the bottom of the hill in some ares and many drivers were forced to abandon their cars and walk home. Flights are delayed or else cancelled. Trains and trams stopped running as the tracks are all covered in snow. UK has no back-up plans for heavy snow and this makes the situation worse. The roads are not properly graded, causes travel chaos.
Our 2nd term @ the final term of our Uni has just started yesterday. PL n i walked out of the house this morning, finding our feet buried in snow! It is so slippery to walk on the snow especially when it has been compacted by the cars, busses, bikes, pedestrians, cats, dogs, etc.. which turn the surfaces into water and then ice under the negative temperature.
I had a nightmare on my way towards our outreach centre yesterday, trying to keep myself in balance! Cass who works in the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) has been telling us how the orthopedic departments are so busy these days.
PL just learn from her patient that it helps by landing on the heels (not tip-toeing), so we went on trying the trick this morning! Phoeh... after 23 years of up walking and running on the normal ground, now we all have to learn how to walk again!
The afternoon clinic was canceled and the whole University was closed due to the heavy snow! This has never ever happen in these 5 years! It was a remarkable news for us as i was dreading to attend my oral surgery session. MORE HOLIDAY!! Yeahhh!!!!
After a long session of completing 3 large composite fillings in the morning, PL, my sister and i went out to Kro2 for lunch. We manage to catch a breath-taking view by sitting beside the long stretched window. =D
A war started before we get home. PL n i became the victim as soon as we arrive Banff Road!! Snow balls came flying towards our direction and there's no where for us to hide. More than 10 people were attacking! =s. I bravely ran back to my house, chuck my bag, grab my keys, borrowed a pair of gloves, and out i went again!!!
~~~~MY TURN TO ATTACK!~~~
Grabbing the snow from the roof of the cars and using the cars as our shield! Luckily none of the alarms went off as the snowballs are quite solid. Honestly, it does hurt to get hit by the balls!
The fight ended after an hour. Everyone was soaked and frozen.
Kinda wish the snow will stay on tomorrow. Another snow fight awaiting.... ^^
p/s: just received a notice -- uni is canceled for tomorrow too!!!!
~~HURRAAAAAAAY!!!~~
Another late night,
another sleep-in,
another free day!!! ^^
